DESCRIPTION:Each research discipline has its own ethos - distinct ways of
  asking questions\, applying methods\, and communicating ideas. This div
 ersity can sometimes feel like a barrier to collaboration\, even within 
 schools\, let alone across the wider university. \n\nAs interdisciplinar
 y research becomes increasingly vital - driven by complex societal chall
 enges and evolving funding landscapes - how can we foster mutual underst
 anding and smoother collaboration across disciplines? How can we find wa
 ys to translate our disciplinary languages\, methods and contexts so tha
 t we can work more effectively together? \n\nWe invite researchers from 
 across The University of Manchester to a panel discussion and speed netw
