 he global south\n\nA smart-wise city is where technical & digital system
 s enable social inclusion\, economic livelihoods\, ecological resilience
  & political empowerment.\n\nCuritiba\, Brasil\, is an international pio
 neer in sustainable cities – home of ‘urban acupuncture’ – with innovati
 ons in education\, mobility\, green spaces\, climate action\, circular e
 conomy\, social inclusion and digital governance. As Curitiba is a winne
 r in the 2026 Global Green Awards\, its leaders will be in the UK for pa
 rtnership and exchange. The Curitiba smart-wise city program includes re
 search / policy / business in 6 main areas:\n\n•Education for sustainabi
 lity: schools as a vital link with digital tools and infrastructure (wit
 h MEEN)\;\n•Transport for sustainability: deploying digital systems for 
 mobility and accessibility (with TFGM)\;\n•Climate mitigation & adaptati
 on: ensuring that technology solutions are in synergy with human systems

 g the ecosystem as a living laboratory (with UOM-Business Engagement)\;\
