DESCRIPTION:Abstract:\n\nOur movements carry information about what we in
 tend\, decide\, and feel. How is this information encoded\, and how do o
 thers read it out? I present a framework for quantifying the information
  encoded in movement and measure how observers use it to read mental sta
 tes. I discuss what this reveals about human mindreading\, social diffic
 ulties\, and communication between humans and machines.\n
