In light of the recent scandals within a number of learning disability services, this one day conference will explore how learning disability studies within academia can make a difference to the lived experiences of learning disabled people and contribute toward challenging abuse and improving professional practice within services.
The conference takes place on Monday 9 June between 10.00-4.00. Registration begins at 9.30 and booking essential.
