 the next in our series showcasing some of the creative methods FBMH staf
 f have been introducing into their teaching with the help of Generative 
 AI\, alongside further discussions regarding this prescient topic. \n\nF
 or our May talk we look forward to welcoming:\n\nDr Michaela Goodwin: Se
 nior Lecturer in Public Health within the Division of Dentistry: Michael
 a will be presenting findings from a study with Year 3 dental students u
 sing Sim Converse\, a platform enabling learners to converse with simula
 ted patients. The talk will discuss platform functionality\, the develop
 ment of cases and a discussion of student feedback and engagement. \n\nD
 r Elizabeth Lewis: Senior Lecturer in Psychology and Mental Health: Eliz
 abeth’s talk will explore how the shift toward more human-centred forms 
 of assessment in an AI-enabled landscape introduces new challenges aroun
 d scale\, consistency\, and feedback quality. Drawing on two recent proj
 ects\, she will examine how AI can support - rather than replace - educa
 tor judgement\, including the use of AI as a feedback collaborator and f
 or assessing collaborative problem solving. The session will highlight p
 ractical approaches for using AI to enhance feedback and support human-c
 entred assessment while maintaining meaningful human interaction.\n\nDet
