DESCRIPTION:Guest speakers: Vanita Sundaram and Kathryn Asbury\, Co-Heads
  of the Department of Education\, University of York\n\nIn this talk we 
 discuss how we developed our co-leadership model\, arising from feminist
  principles of leadership. We outline the key values that are central to
  our departmental leadership practice  - fairness\, respect\, inclusion 
 and compassion - and how we use these values to navigate decision-making
 . Our co-leadership model is the first of its kind in our institutional 
 context and we reflect on the challenges we faced in pitching this appro
 ach\, as well as the benefits we think this model of leadership can brin
 g to departments and universities.\n\nThis event will be hybrid on campu
