DESCRIPTION:For the 2026/27 academic year\, we're launching SEED Pods – a
  new peer-to-peer support scheme for PGR students across SEED.\n \nSEED 
 Pods aims to help new PGRs feel welcome\, connected and supported as the
 y begin their PhD journey. Each Pod will consist of a small group of fir
 st-year PGRs (SEEDlings) and two or three more experienced PGRs (Pod Par
 ents)\, creating an informal space where students can ask questions\, sh
 are experiences and build connections across disciplines.\n \nAs a Pod P
 arent\, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference to the exp
 erience of new researchers by helping them settle into life in SEED. Whe
 ther it's sharing your own experiences\, pointing someone towards useful
  resources\, or simply being a friendly face\, your support can help new
  students feel more confident and connected. It's also a great opportuni
 ty to meet PGRs from across the School\, develop mentoring and leadershi
 p skills\, and contribute to a welcoming and inclusive PGR community.\nB
 ecause Pod Parents are fellow PGRs rather than supervisors or members of
  staff\, they're well placed to answer questions that new students might
  not feel comfortable asking elsewhere and to provide informal guidance 
 throughout the year.\n \nWe're looking for current PGRs to volunteer as
