DESCRIPTION:Overview\nThis two-hour\, in-person workshop—co-developed by 
 FBMH and the Students’ Union—introduces staff to what decolonising the c
 urriculum means and why it matters. Through student perspectives\, real 
 examples from SBS\, SHS and SMS and guided activities using the Students
 ’ Union’s Decolonising Toolkit\, participants will explore practical way
 s to create more inclusive and representative learning environments.\n\n
 Intended Learning Objectives:\nBy the end of this workshop\, participant
 s will be able to:\n- Understand the principles and importance of decolo
 nising the curriculum.\n\n- Recognise how decolonised educational practi
 ces impact student belonging and engagement.\n\n- Identify practical exa
 mples of decolonising work within SBS\, SHS and SMS.\n\n- Reflect on the
 ir own teaching materials and approaches.\n\n- Use the Students’ Union D
 ecolonising Toolkit to support inclusive curriculum development.\n\n- Pl
 an initial steps to incorporate decolonising practices into their own te
 aching contexts.\n\n- Engage in constructive dialogue with colleagues ab
