DESCRIPTION:The 9th Annual Workshop on Advances in X-ray Imaging is a col
 laboration between The University of Manchester at Harwell\, 3Dmaginatio
 n Ltd and the Collaborative Computational Project in Tomographic Imaging
  (CCPi) with the aim of bringing together scientists from different fiel
 ds to discuss developments and applications of a variety of X-Ray imagin
 g and complementary techniques\, and to build international collaboratio
 ns.    The workshop will be opened by Professor Jayne Lawrence\, Directo
 r\, The University of Manchester at Harwell\, followed by presentations 
 from national and international speakers\, presenting a variety of compl
 ementary imaging techniques.\n\nAttendees are invited to bring a poster 
 to be displayed throughout the workshop which will be judged by the scie
 ntific organising committee and prizes awarded to the three best posters
 .\n\nPLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN IN-PERSON EVENT ONLY.  This event will not b
