DESCRIPTION:Title: Springer Fibres\, Parabolic Induction & Stacking Maps 
 in Classical Type\n\nAbstract: Fibres coming from the Springer resolutio
 n on the nilpotent cone are incredibly rich algebraic varieties that hav
 e many applications in algebraic geometry\, representation theory and co
 mbinatorics. In this talk\, I will describe how we can use the combinato
 rics of (domino)tableaux to describe their geometry in low dimensions\, 
 in particular\, giving a description of their irreducible components. I 
 will also describe a process of parabolic induction on Springer fibres c
 oming the nilpotent cone of a Levi subalgebra. This is joint work with L
 ewis Topley\, and separately with Mee Seong Im and Arik Wilbert.
