DESCRIPTION:As educators in FBMH\, we play a crucial role in preparing ou
r students to address some of the world’s most pressing health and envir
onmental challenges. But how do you bring sustainability into your teach
ing in a way that feels relevant\, manageable\, and authentic to your di
scipline? Many colleagues worry it means a major curriculum overhaul\, o
r that they need to be experts in environmental science. In reality\, em
bedding sustainability can be as simple as making small changes that hig
hlight connections between your subject and the wider challenges facing
society.\n\nThis session will provide both practical strategies and coll
aborative discussion tailored to the FBMH context. You’ll leave with ide
as that are achievable within your existing workload\, grounded in the r
esources already available at the University\, and designed to engage st
udents in meaningful discussion about the world they’re preparing to sha
pe.\n\nIntended Learning Outcomes\n\n• Gain awareness of the approach ta
ken in each school to embed Embedding environmental sustainability in te
aching and learning and the resources available.\n• Brainstorm and discu
ss ES-related activities that could be incorporated into your teaching -
small or large\n \nPlease register to attend using the link: \nhttps://
