DESCRIPTION:Title: The Subnormalizer conjecture* and p-solvable groups\n\
 nAbstract: Subnormalizers are group theoretic objects that have been aro
 und for decades\, within the confines of pure group theory. Recently\, a
  family of conjectures has been proposed which suggests they should have
  major relevance to representation theory as well. In this talk\, we wil
 l state the Picky and Subnormalizer conjectures\, some known cases\, and
  the difficulty (and appeal!) of working with subnormalizers. We will fo
 cus especially on p-solvable groups\, where we show the Subnormalizer co
 njecture holds under some special conditions.
