DESCRIPTION:Join us to explore how creative writers and artists approach 
 ideas about innovation. Part of The Cultural Welcome 5-11 Oct.\n\nHow do
  creative writers and artists approach ideas about innovation? How do th
 eir explorations of the social\, emotional\, and narrative dimensions of
  economic ideas help us to understand better the changing world in which
  we live\, and how we might contribute to that change?\n\nJoin Ingrid Ha
 nson who will reflect on artist-businessman William Morris’s relation to
  the Industrial Revolution of Victorian England\, economist Ismail Ertür
 k speaking on the value of his long-standing collaboration with artists 
 Goldin+Senneby on contemporary finance\, and writer Reuben Martens whose
  work brings indigenous creative practices into conversations about impe
 rial extractivist infrastructures.\n\nThe event will begin with short li
 ghtning talks before a broader conversation\, led by Chair\, John McAuli
 ffe\, and followed by a Q&A.\n\nThere will be a special treat for studen
 ts joining us\, please just bring your student ID.\n\nThis panel event i
