DESCRIPTION:The Behaviour Change Meeting Group at The University of Manch
 ester has the purpose of bringing together academics and clinicians acro
 ss several institutes who are working with behaviour change\, interventi
 on development and/or implementation theory. We usually meet online on t
 he first Thursday of the month at 3pm\, inviting external speakers and i
 nternal speakers to discuss and gain feedback on their latest research i
 n the field. We have a range of health and clinical psychologists in the
  group as well as epidemiologists\, nurses and physiotherapists who work
  with a range of different short-term and long-term conditions in differ
 ent contexts (public\, patient and healthcare professional groups).\n\nI

 ing and Dr Sarah Rhodes </b> presenting on <b>‘BEST BEHAVIOUR (Better Ev
 idence Synthesis to Target BEHAVIOUR change in health and healthcare)’.<
 /b>\n\n<b>Dr Tracy Epton</b> is a Senior Lecturer in Health Psychology a
 t the University of Manchester. Her focus is on addressing social inequa
 lities including health. She is an expert in behaviour change and eviden
 ce synthesis. She has published many systematic reviews including: rapid
  reviews\, meta-analyses\, meta-syntheses\, narrative reviews and  umbre
 lla reviews. She was the systematic review lead for Health Psychology Ex
 change (a National group of researchers and practitioners that provided 
 evidence based information during COVID-19) and is the systematic review
  lead for CUBiC (an initiative to systematically explore the unique effe
 cts of behaviour change techniques using evidence synthesis). \n<b>Dr Re
 becca Goulding</b> is a Health Services Researcher at The University of 
 Manchester. Her research interests include behaviour change\, health com
 munication\, access to care and patient safety. Rebecca is predominantly
  a qualitative researcher with experience of meta-ethnography. She passi
 onate about stakeholder involvement in research\, including systematic r
 eviews and the design and development of interventions.\n<b>Dr Sarah Rho
 des</b> is a Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Biostatistics at the Univ
 ersity of Manchester.  She has co-authored many systematic reviews\, inc
 luding three relating to behaviour change\, and is interested in methods
  to make randomised trials and systematic reviews of randomised trials m
 ore efficient\, accurate and meaningful. Sarah teaches on several course
 s relating to systematic reviews\, including being Co-Lead for Evidence 
 Based Medicine for the MBChB Programme in the Medical School. \n\n\n\n[h
