 cribed in terms of algebraic groups. For example\, by a result of Pillay
 \, every definable group in a differentially closed field of characteris
 tic 0 embeds into an algebraic group.\nIn this talk\, we show that the s
 ame holds true for definable groups in differentially closed fields of p
 ositive characteristic\, following a strategy of Bouscaren and Delon. Be
 fore outlining the proof\, we will first introduce the theory of differe
 ntially closed fields of positive characteristic and the properties that
  are used in the proof. If time permits\, we will also discuss how the r
 esult can be used to characterize definable fields.
