DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to invite you to attend From Clinic to Curricu
 lum: Preparing Healthcare Students for AI-Enabled Practice\, which will 
 take place on Thursday 8 October\, 10:00am-1:00pm in the Emmeline Suite\
 , Pankhurst Building. The event is aimed at programme leads and educator
 s from healthcare programmes across the University\, alongside invited s
 tudent representatives.  \n\nArtificial intelligence is increasingly sha
 ping healthcare delivery\, from clinical documentation and decision supp
 ort to patient care and service transformation. As educators\, we have a
 n important role in ensuring that our graduates are prepared to work con
 fidently\, safely and critically within an AI-enabled healthcare environ
 ment. The purpose of this event is to explore how AI is currently being 
 used in clinical practice and to consider the implications for healthcar
 e education and curriculum design.  \n\nThe session will bring together 
 clinicians\, educators and students and will include: \n\n•	A panel disc
 ussion on how generative AI and ambient voice technologies are being use
 d in clinical practice.  \n•	A discussion exploring governance\, assuran
 ce\, accountability\, bias and trust in AI-enabled healthcare.  \n•	Inte
 ractive roundtable discussions focused on the knowledge\, skills and edu
 cational approaches needed to prepare future healthcare professionals fo
 r AI-enabled care.   \n\nWe would strongly encourage you to register for
  the event and contribute to what we hope will be a valuable Faculty-wid
 e conversation about the future of healthcare education.
