DESCRIPTION:This exhibition is the outcome of a 10-month research project
  which aimed to better understand older LGBTQ people’s experiences of ho
 using with care. The project observed the process of co-designing Kindre
 d House\, an extra-care housing scheme developed through a collaboration
  between a community steering group\, Manchester City Council\, Great Pl
 aces Housing Group\, and the LGBT Foundation. The project also co-develo
 ped a number of creative methods to better understand these experiences.
 \n\nThis exhibition features panels illustrated by Manchester artist Len
  Grant as part of workshops run with project participants.\n\nThe Samuel
  Alexander Building is open to external visitors 9am - 5pm\, Monday - Fr
 iday. Exhibiting until 30 September. \n\nWhen entering from the South Fo
 yer\, the space is step-free throughout and wheelchair accessible. \n
