DESCRIPTION:The focus of the Dalton ECR Conference is on problem solving 
 in the nuclear industry\, whether related to nuclear energy or wider nuc
 lear applications. It will be a showcase of the technical challenges fac
 ed in the industry\, and the solutions found to those problems.\n\nThe e
 vent highlights universally relevant ideas and techniques that can inspi
 re and inform the broader community. We welcome contributions that demon
 strate new methods\, unconventional applications\, or approaches that op
 en new possibilities in nuclear research.\n\nWe welcome internal applica
 tions from early career researchers (PhD and post-doc) and their associa
 ted academic and industry supervisors based at The University of Manches
 ter (or affiliated through a CDT).\n\nJoin us as we explore the ingenuit
 y shaping the future of nuclear science.
