About the event:
The Neuroscience Research Institute will be hosting their annual event to showcase the breadth of neuroscience research across Manchester. The showcase also aims to promote discussion, foster new collaborations and strengthen existing relationships.
A highlight of the showcase this year will be a keynote presentation from Dr Richard Wade-Martins. Richard is Associate of the Oxford Stem Cell Institute and Group Head of Molecular Neurodegeneration and Gene Therapy at Oxford University. The title of his presentation is ‘Understanding the early molecular mechanisms of Parkinson's disease'

The programme will also include a wide range of research projects presented by researchers (in particular early career researchers) from within the University. We also anticipate around 75 poster abstracts and we will be holding a funders surgery session.
