Many of you will be bombarded with requests to host work experience students at all stages of their school career, and often many have to be turned away. Find out from colleagues across the University how to deal with such requests, what strategies they have employed to host students for work experience and what their top tips are for supporting work experience.
The next engagement@manchester meeting will focus on Supporting Work Experience and will take place on Wednesday, 11th December, 1-2pm in the Renold Building, Room F1 (mince pies will be supplied!).
engagement@manchester is a series of lunchtime meetings exploring different aspects of public engagement. All University staff and students are welcome to attend these free events. No registration required - just pop along.
If you have any questions about the event, please contact ceri.harrop@manchester.ac.uk
