Speaker: Professor Sir Partha Dasgupta
Further details: Sir Partha Dasgupta, Professorial Research Fellow of the Sustainable Consumption Institute and world-leading economist, will be making a case for students of consumption and policy makers to recognise that as we humans are social animals, each of us looks over our shoulders to see what others are consuming when we come to choose our own consumption - a kind of "neighbourhood effect".
