We’re delighted that Professor Kara Hanson (NIHR) and Dr Victoria Swann O’Flynn (MRC) will be joining us on campus to discuss funder priorities and upcoming funding calls for global health.
Kara Hanson is the first NIHR Programme Director for Global Health, and Victoria is the MRC Programme Manager for Interdisciplinary Global Health.
We’ll hear about funder priorities in global health research, with time for Q&A, followed by lighting talks to showcase some of the exciting global health research taking place across the university. There will be time for networking, and we'll end with table discussions about opportunities for collaboration, possible grant ideas and capacity building.
The event will be hosted by Professor Keith Brennan, as Vice Dean for Internationalisation in FBMH.
