 Battle Manchester has joined forces with The University of Manchester to
  create a trail of artworks inspired by research from Healthier Futures\
 , Digital Futures\, Creative Manchester and Sustainable Futures.\n\nIf y
 ou’ve ever wondered about the University’s research\, why it’s essential
  and how it helps our wider community\, let four of the UK’s top street 
 artists show you. You’ll have the opportunity to meet the artists creati
 ng bespoke pieces in front of your eyes – bringing to life the essence a
 nd impact of the University’s research platforms.\n\nThe pieces\, create
 d over the festival weekend\, form part of a larger project exploring th
 e historical role of street art and how the University’s research platfo
 rms can combine their work with street artists and local communities to 
 develop effective communication methods and continue strengthening local
  links.\n\nAnd that’s not all – you can unleash your inner artist by try
 ing your hand at your very own street art on our trail. There’ll be a se
 ries of free drop-in workshops throughout Saturday\, so release your inn
 er Banksy and get creative with sprays and stencils.
