Biography: A Chartered Geologist, Fiona started her career with Mobil North Sea Limited in 1985 and for over 30 years held key roles in a number of leading oil and gas firms around the globe in large, mid, and small cap E&Ps including BG and Hess. Her strong technical credentials have led to executive roles as COO and Technical Director. Currently, CEO of Latin America-focused Echo Energy plc, Fiona is also an independent Non-Executive Director of Coro Energy and Independent Oil and Gas. Fiona is an active member of the industry, dedicated to supporting professional standards,education and diversity. She has served on the Petroleum Group Committee of the Geological Society, is the current European President of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, and has provided mentoring for women in the industry through the Powerful Women association.
