\nAbstract:\n\nAs scholars\, much of the impact and visibility we create
depends on information sharing and networking. This can be done in diff
erent ways\, and the actual practices will depend on a number of factors
. In any case\, it is clear that the role of social media as a tool for
engagement\, interaction and dissemination has become more important ove
r the years. In this talk\, I will discuss my experience with using soci
al media as a scholar to create impact and visibility. I will present so
me suggestions and frameworks\, which colleagues will hopefully find int
eresting and useful as they start\, extend or evaluate their own scholar
ly use of social media.\n\nS?peaker Bio:\n\nMarcel Bogers is a Full Prof
essor of Open & Collaborative Innovation at the Innovation\, Technology
Entrepreneurship and Marketing (ITEM) group at the Department of Industr
ial Engineering & Innovation Sciences (IE&IS) at Eindhoven University of
Technology (TU/e). Bogers' main interests center on open and collaborat
ive innovation\, which he has studied across different levels of analysi
 s. As such\, his research focus ranges from the microfoundations of open
innovation to the dynamics of innovation ecosystems\, and from organiza
tional attributes of business model innovation to the societal impact of
open innovation. He has done research in a variety of contexts\, such a
 s big data\, health\, food\, sustainability\, open science\, and emergin
