Title: Generalised Beauville Groups
Abstract: A Beauville surface is a complex surface defined by letting a finite group act on the product of a pair of complex curves in a particular way. The end result has numerous nice geometric properties. But what about higher dimensions? In this talk we will discuss recent progress on this question which raises several more questions than it answers. This is joint work with Ludo Carter.
