Film night: Macbeth
The John Rylands Library is screening the 2015 film adaptation of Macbeth in the stunning surroundings of our Historic Reading Room. Make sure not to miss out on this opportunity to view a marvellous rendition of one of Shakespeare's most famous tragedies in a truly special setting.
Directed by Justin Kurzel and written by Jacob Koskoff, Todd Louiso, and Michael Lesslie. The film stars Michael Fassbender as the titular Macbeth, and Marion Cotillard as Lady Macbeth.
