We are launching a bi-annual Faculty-wide seminar series to bring together researchers from across Schools and divisions. Each event will revolve around a topic and will involve three speakers, one for each School.
The first topic is "Integrating molecular knowledge, system-wide approaches and social perspectives to tackle the evolution of drug resistance" and the event will take place on Wednesday 26 June, 15:00-16:30, in Stopford theatre TH2, followed by a social event in the Stopford Common Room and quadrant (weather permitting).
Our speakers for this event are:
- Danna Gifford from SBS on molecular data on drug resistance and antibiotic therapy (15:00-15:30)
- Lucie-Byrne Davis from SMS on antimicrobial stewardship (15:30-16:00)
- Tjeerd Van Staa from SHS on system-wide approaches to antimicrobial resistance (16:00-16:30)
Following the talks will be a Faculty social event – drinks and nibbles in Stopford building, 16:30-onwards. We hope this will be a great opportunity for colleagues in the different Schools to come together!
