Title: Homomorphisms between Specht modules of KLR algebras
Abstract:
Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebras have an almighty presentation which can at first seem unpleasant and unwieldy. By taking a brief look at some 'simpler' algebras and by focusing on the combinatorial side of things, I aim to show how they fit into the representation theory of the symmetric group, and how they are really not quite as difficult to work with as their presentation implies. Using diagrams, I will describe some particularly 'nice-looking' homomorphisms between Specht modules of Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebras.
