DESCRIPTION:This is a monthly meeting of the Additive Manufacturing Innov
 ation Club. \n\nInnovation Spotlight: Murat Kilic and Wajira Mirihanage 
 - Digitalization of Additive Manufacturing\n\nThe purpose of Additive Ma
 nufacturing club activity is to allow UoM researchers to:\n\n- Present t
 heir research and discuss sticking points that the community may be able
  to help them with\n- Find new collaboration partners from across the Un
 iversity\n- Ask questions within the community so that members can share
  experience/ideas to save time\n- Share ideas on funding calls that are 
 relevant to the community\n- Share equipment (if free) and resources\n- 
 Discuss technology/methodology advances and provide advice on what to/no
 t to buy\n- Advertise talks that may be of interest to the community & w
 iden participation across campus.\n\nClub Lead: Dr Wajira Mirihanage\n\n
 The Innovation Clubs align closely with Digital Futures' capabilities th
 emes and are targeted particularly at early career researchers. The Inno
 vation Clubs help to build communities of practice around key digital re
 search technologies and provide a forum for researchers to share their k
 nowledge\, experience and practical skills in these areas.\n\nThis activ
 ity is also part of wider IT club activity Computation and Data in resea
 rch (CaDiR).\n\n\nTo join the meetings\, please sign up via the Innovati

 will also join a dedicated Microsoft Teams space to network with other m
 embers.\n
