The University of Manchester is holding an open evening for anyone thinking about a career in teaching. Come along to find out about our PGCEs (Postgraduate Certificates of Education) - ten month courses that enable graduates to train to teach and gain Qualified Teacher Status.
You will be able to speak to course tutors for our Primary PGCE, including PGCE Primary with Mathematics and subject specialists for our Secondary PGCEs, including:
Business education
Economics with business education
English
Geography
History
Mathematics
Science (chemistry, biology, physics and physics with mathematics)
Modern languages (French, German and Spanish)
Our admissions staff will be on hand to answer questions on entry requirements, professional skills tests and subject enhancement courses, as well as information on the bursaries and scholarships available.
