The first seminar in the ‘Celebrating Research Success in FLS’ series will take place on 5 December 2014. The aim of the seminar series is to celebrate and promote the very best research being conducted in each of the Research Themes, and for the speakers to share their experiences in getting a particular piece of research to publication. The first seminar will be given by Andrew Loudon, who is a member of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Disease (CMD) Research Theme. As well as presenting his research on 'Rhythmic control of inflammation and defence', Andrew will also provide his first-hand experience of publishing in Nature Medicine and PNAS. The seminar is scheduled to take place just prior to FLS Happy Hour to allow discussions and networking to continue after the actual presentation.
