DESCRIPTION:This session provides a conversational\, non-judgmental space
  to increase confidence and familiarity around trans issues\, and to lea
 rn how to create a positive experience for trans students and staff in h
 igher education. We’ll cover the basics of trans identities and related 
 terminology alongside practical aspects of trans inclusivity\, including
  social interactions\, supporting trans students pastorally\, trans-incl
 usive pedagogy\, and signalling that your university is a trans-friendly
  institution. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions and discus
 s problems specific to their area of work\, and there will also be an op
 portunity to ask anonymous questions.\n\nF?or colleagues on the HNAP pro
 gramme\, this session counts towards 0.5 credits (with the usual reflect
 ive log completed).
