Phenomenal Woman: A Maya Angelou inspired poetry workshop
As part of Black History Month and as a celebration of the life of Maya Angelou (4 April 1928 - 28 May 2014), we are holding poetry workshops led by Commonword/Young Identity. During the workshops you will use the work of Maya Angelou as inspiration for the creation of your own poetry, and have the chance to share your work at an open mic session later in the day.
