In partnership with the Manchester School of Architecture and the Centre for Ageing Better, Camilla Lewis and Sarah Wilkinson will be drawing on new research to discuss the impact of the cost of living crisis on urban ageing.
Camilla has recently completed a pilot study in Greater Manchester exploring the impact of the cost-of-living crisis on older adults from ethnic minority communities, while Sarah will be discussing findings from a new ‘State of Ageing’ national report from the Centre for Ageing Better. Both speakers will discuss how marginalised groups of older people have been affected by the cost of living crisis.
The conversation will be chaired by Sophie Yarker from the Manchester Urban Ageing Research Group.
Room G30/31, Arthur Lewis Building, The University of Manchester, Oxford Road, Manchester.
