DESCRIPTION:The NIHR Greater Manchester Patient Safety Research Collabora
 tion (GM PSRC) will mark its official launch with two special events at 
 the Manchester Museum on 6 November and at the University of Nottingham 
 on 14 November. \n\nYou are invited to come celebrate with us and hear a
 bout our plans to improve patient safety across health and social care.\
 n\nThe NIHR GM PSRC is one of six collaborations across England and is h
 osted by Northern Care Alliance (NCA) NHS Foundation Trust. Our aim is t
 o improve patient safety across health and social care\, along with narr
 owing the gap in health inequalities\, which will lead to safer health a
 nd social care for everyone. Working with patients\, carers\, and health
  and social care staff\, our research takes place across four themes and
  is led by patient safety experts based at the Universities of Mancheste
 r\, Nottingham and Leicester.\n\nOur launch event will give our team\, c
 olleagues\, friends\, and collaborators a taste of what we are working o
 n and what we plan to accomplish in the near future. We are excited to s
 hare our vision and look forward to welcoming you and strengthening a la
