DESCRIPTION:Join us to celebrate and commemorate the significant contribu
 tion made by women to the Natural Sciences at the 2021 Irene Manton lect
 ure.\n\nThe lecture is free to attend and is open to everyone\, however 
 we especially welcome A-level students with the hope of creating further
  interest in the study of natural sciences.\n\nThe Faculty of Biology\, 
 Medicine and Health in collaboration with The Linnean Society of London 
 will host the 2021 Irene Manton lecture.\n\nCelebrating the significant 
 contribution made by women to the Natural Sciences\, this year our speak
 er will be Dr Kat Coyte\, Presidential Fellow (Research) at The Universi
 ty of Manchester. Kat will highlight how we can combine mathematics\, bi
 g data and simple experiments to understand\, and perhaps even manipulat
 e\, our own microbial communities\, through her talk entitled 'Worlds wi
 thin our Guts'.\n\nTaking place online on the Faculty's Facebook page (a
 ccount not required)\, further information including the link to access 
 the event will be sent to attendees a few days before.\n\nShould you hav
