Please join the CPPI Research Cluster for Dr. Gaby Ramia (University of Sydney) on 'Welfare State Transformation as a Global, National and Comparative Phenomenon: A Regulatory and Case Study Analysis'
Gaby Ramia is Associate Professor in Public Policy within the Department of Government and International Relations, School of Social and Political Sciences. Dr Ramia's research lies in public and social policy and governance, particularly in relation to work, employment, education and welfare. He is currently leading an Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Project across three universities, on governance networks, social networks and the employability and wellbeing of long-term unemployed people. He has also conducted ARC funded, multi-university and collaborative research on: social security in China; international education and the welfare of international students; and a recently won ARC Discovery project on precarious housing among international students.
