 ter Manchester\n\nJoin us for an afternoon exploring creative health app
 roaches to supporting older adults to live well in Greater Manchester\, 
 with a particular focus on the link between creative health and brain he
 alth.\nThe event is co-convened by Create Well GM\, which is part of the
  GM Creative Health Place Partnership. Programme and Creative Manchester
 . It is one of a series of deep dive events aimed at supporting the crea
 tive health workforce in Greater Manchester.\nThis event in split into t
 wo parts\, we invite you to join both or either of these.\n\nPart 1: Cre
 ative Health supporting older adults to Live Well in Greater Manchester.
 \nIn this session we will hear about examples of great practice from acr
 oss GM and you will have opportunity to contribute your examples and exp
 erience to the conversation through participatory mapping activities.\n\
 nPart 2: We’re still here\, aren’t we? Stories of creativity and brain h
 ealth.\nWe’re still here\, aren’t we? is a short film featuring three in
 terlinked fictional monologues exploring creativity and brain health.\n\
 nSamira (Perveen Hussain) runs a community centre offering creative acti
 vities for a wide range of people young and old. Pearl (Ann Sarge) atten
 ds a regular art group at the centre for people living with dementia but
  today she has gone missing. Her husband Cecil (Steve Royston Brown)\, w
 ho also volunteers at the centre\, paces the foyer worrying and waiting 
 for Pearl to arrive.\n\nThe film explores the potential of creative acti
 vities to support brain health but also addresses challenges people enco
 unter when trying to facilitate and access these activities. It aims to 
 stimulate discussion amongst health professionals\, community workers an
 d creative practitioners.\n\nThe film was written by Nicola Schofield an
 d directed by Greta Santagata. It was produced by Sarah Fox and Simon Pa
 rry and is based on research by them and others into creativity\, brain 
 health and older adults.\n\nThe event will include a screening of the fi
 lm\, a panel discussion and Q & A.\n\nAccessibility\n\nWe want to make t
 he event a positive experience for all participants. If you have particu
