DESCRIPTION:In The Manchester Museum's  Unearthed: Ancient Egypt exhibiti
 on\, you can help Egyptologist\, Dr Digby (played on film by Terry Deary
 \, author of Horrible Histories and Egyptian Tales) investigate and reco
 rd his finds. These include toys\, farming tools\, stone carvings and bu
 rial goods\, which can help us understand the ancient Egyptians’ home li
 fe\, working life\, language and beliefs.\n\nWhat object do you think wo
 uld tell future archaeologists the most about you?\n\nSend your answer (
 object and reasons) to:\nUnearthed competition\, The Manchester Museum\,
  The University of Manchester\, Oxford Road\, Manchester\, M13 9PL\n\nBy
  Friday 26 August 2011.\n\nRemember to include your contact details with
  your entry – name\, address\, phone number and email address (if you ha
 ve one). The winner will be announced by Tuesday 30 August 2011.\n\nThe 
 winner gets to meet the author of Horrible Histories and Egyptian Tales\
 , Terry Deary\, in person and gets a signed copy of a book from his Egyp
 tian Tales series.\n\n \n\nTerms and conditions\n\n1 winner will be chos
 en. The winner and their family (up to 5 people) will be invited to the 
 Museum on Thursday 29 September\, 4pm\, to meet Terry Deary and receive 
 a signed copy of a book from his Egyptian Tales series.\n\nThe winner’s 
 name will appear on The Manchester Museum’s website and other promotiona
 l material. The winner’s photo may appear on The Manchester Museum’s web
 site and other promotional material after the competition prize has take
 n place.\n
