Are you a Humanities researcher who would like to be able to repeat a simple computing task several times but don’t want to use your own machine to do this? By using the University’s computational shared facilities (CSF) you can offload your jobs to the high performance computing (HPC) facility. This will allow you to save space and resources on your own machine to work on something else. Although this course is aimed at new users of the iCSF and CSF the knowledge gained will be useful to anyone wanting a general introduction to HPC / HTC on Linux based systems. During the morning there will also be an opportunity to find out more about other Research IT Infrastructure Provided Services.
