SUMMARY:Synchrotron X-ray small-angle scattering Training
UID:{http://www.columbasystems.com/customers/uom/gpp/eventid/}d1cd-m5uzox

DESCRIPTION:Synchrotron X-ray small-angle scattering (SAS) is a powerful
technique for characterizing materials at the nanoscale. By analysing th
e scattering patterns of X-rays as they interact with a sample\, SAXS pr
ovides insights into the size\, shape\, and distribution of nanoparticle
s\, pores\, and other structural features. This method is particularly v
aluable for studying materials such as polymers\, biomaterials\, colloid
s\, and mesoporous materials. Synchrotron sources offer high-intensity X
-rays\, enabling high-resolution measurements with excellent sensitivity
to small structural variations\, making SAXS an indispensable tool for
 materials research and development.\n\n[https://www.harwell.manchester.a
