DESCRIPTION:This webinar is intended for anyone who wants to know more ab
 out the qualitative or mixed-methods data available from the UK Data Ser
 vice. The UK Data Service provides access to a range of qualitative and 
 mixed-methods data including Peter Townsend’s Last Refuge and Neighbourh
 ood Boundaries\, Social Disorganisation and Social Exclusion. These coll
 ections cover many topics and most of them can be downloaded after a sho
 rt registration. They can be used for research or for teaching.\n\nThis 
 is an introductory webinar.  We do not expect attendees to have any expe
 rience in working with data to attend this session.\n\nThis webinar will
  consist of a 30 minute presentation followed by 20 minutes for question
 s.\n\nThe webinar will cover: \n\n• An overview of key features of quali
 tative data and where our data come from\; \n• Some examples of UK and i
 nternational qualitative data and how they have been used\; \n• Some key
  issues when using qualitative data\; \n• Access conditions and getting 
 further help
