DESCRIPTION:Individual level census data or ‘census microdata’ are sample
s of records which are available in an anonymous form for research use.
They are flexible census products which are well suited to filling in th
e gaps between published tables or creating analyses for subpopulations
from simple graphs to multivariate models.\n\nIn this free hour-long web
inar\, presented by Jo Wathan from the Census Service\, UK Data Service\
, you will be introduced to census microdata (formerly known as SARs). W
e will demonstrate these datasets and showcase what data are available a
nd take a look at data that may be available in the future. We will focu
s on the 2011 data: their characteristics\, where researchers can obtain
the data and will look at ways the data can be used.
