DESCRIPTION:The NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (DPP) is a behaviour-ch
 ange programme in patients who are defined as at risk of developing Type
  2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). \n\nThese individuals are referred to as ha
 ving Non-Diabetic Hyperglycaemia (NDH). \n\n\nWe present findings from t
 wo sets of analyses evaluating the effectiveness of the DPP at reducing 
 conversion of NDH to T2DM. The first is an analysis using matched cohort
 s and Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD). \n\nThe second\, explo
 res the effectiveness of the programme at a national level\, using data 
 from the National Diabetes Audit combined with provider sourced data.\n\
