Following on from last year’s Making a Difference Volunteering Fair, we will again be hosting a fair on #GivingTuesday to encourage members of the Faculty of Science and Engineering to get involved in volunteering or Making a Difference in the local community and beyond.
The event is aimed at staff and students from the Faculty but there will be no restrictions on who can attend and marketing for the event and other activities on #GivingTuesday will be across the University.
This year’s #GivingTuesday is Tuesday 29th November, and we will host the Fair in the Renold Building concourse (floor C) from 11.30am – 2pm following on from feedback last year which generally felt that the day was too long, and as this was the busiest period, we have opted to go with this.
We would like to showcase a wide range of opportunities for staff and / or students to get involved to volunteer and Make A Difference so if you could support this event, I would really appreciate it.
