DESCRIPTION:2-4pm. Discover the ancient technique of twine-making using n
 atural fibres\, with artist Lucy Burscough. The basis of basket-making\,
  netting and a wide variety of crafts from many cultures\, your twine ca
 n be worked up to produce a bird feeder or wren-house. This workshop run
 s alongside the 'Looping and Linking' installation\, on display outside 
 the Museum\, which was inspired by the grass-weaving work of Scottish 'o
 utsider artist'\, Angus McPhee.\n\nUrban Naturalist is a series of frien
 dly\, practical workshops run by leading naturalists. From wild food-for
 aging and composting to bird song and insect identification\, explore bi
 odiversity on our doorstep.  \n
