DESCRIPTION:CRAIG RAINE\nCraig Raine was born in 1944 and educated at Exe
 ter College\, Oxford. His works include a number of poetry collections: 
 The Onion\, Memory (1978)\, A Martian Sends a Postcard Home (1979)\, A F
 ree Translation (1981)\, Rich (1984)\, History: The Home Movie (1994)\, 
 and Clay. Whereabouts Unknown (1996). His libretto for Nigel Osborne’s o
 pera The Electrification of the Soviet Union was published in 1986 and i
 n 1988 The Prophetic Book was published in a limited edition by Correspo
 ndence de Arts\, Lódz. Craig Raine was until recently a fellow in Englis
 h at New College\, Oxford. His first prose novel Heartbreak was publishe
 d in July 2010.\n\nPETER SANSOM\nPeter Sansom's Selected Poems is just o
 ut from Carcanet.  He is a Director of the Poetry Business in Sheffield 
 and editor of The North Magazine and Smith/Doorstop Books. His influenti
