Join us online for an evening celebrating bilingual poetry and macaronic poetry, which uses a mixture of languages. There will be an opportunity to hear readings in English, but which draws on Farsi too.

Poets from the Centre for New Writing will perform poetry and share stories about identity, culture and community, in their native language. Featuring British Manchester-based poet and critic, Maryam Hessavi.

This event is presented by The University of Manchester's Centre for New Writing and Creative Manchester.

Please note that the online event joining details will be sent out to those registered, closer to the event.
