DESCRIPTION:The MIFTAS are a series of 8 plays\, whether original or publ
 ished\, that take place during February and March 2018\, in theatres acr
 oss Manchester\, including the John Thaw Studio Theatre. \n\nThis judged
  season is put together entirely by students\, being the writers\, direc
 tors\, producers\, actors and designers of all the shows. \n\nThe openin
 g production will be:\n\nYellow Icing\n\nWriter: Rory Calland\n\nDirecto
 r: Ollie Norton-Smith\n\nAssistant Director: Elena Brearly\n\nProducer: 
 Virginia Saul\n\n\nHarper struggles to appreciate the world in her time\
 ; destined to be an explorer perhaps she was born too late and the earth
  is now shrunken and shrivelled. \nAround her is only decay\, the world 
 is beyond its prime yet people still absurdly cling to existence. \n\n\n
 Joined by Captain Robert Scott\, Harper simply desires to catalogue the 
 animals on her beach\, but her family is looming above her.  \n\nPlease 
 note:\n-	This production contains some strong language and scenes of a v
